At The Farm

Take a Trip to Simpler Times!

Red Apple Farm is truly a place to connect the past and today!  Our farmhouse and barn were built in the mid-1700’s. The encompassing stonewalls and stately maple trees represent the icons of days gone by and a labor of love that is still found today in the farm’s breath-taking atmosphere and true sense-of-place.  There’s plenty to see, taste and do at the Red Apple Farm.  Guaranteed family fun!  Join us for :

The Country Store

Farm_standMake sure to visit our Country Store at the farm! It’s chock full of country goodness and step-back-in-time charm! In addition to apples and seasonal fruit we feature all our favorite farm-fresh treats: fresh baked pies, our famous apple dumplings and cider donuts, cold and hot cider, fruit-topped ice cream, fresh fudge, endless assortment of jar goods, locally-made gifts, and a whole lot more!  Our farm stand might have grown over the years but at its core it’s still the same place!

Red Apple Farm Goes Green and Stays Local!

Wind mill and farmRed Apple Farm is proud to be powered by sun and wind. Our 15 kw turbine and 10 kw solar panels provide green energy to all our farm buildings. Green is the new Red! ♥ We are Farmily! Our staff is 100% local. We are committed to supporting our community through equal employment opportunity. Every dollar spent at the farm directly impacts our extended community. ♥ Red Apple Farm practices Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and is proud to be a University of Massachusetts Cooperative Extension Mentor Farm. IPM is a holistic and sustainable approach to best farming practices. This low spray program focuses on a natural approach to ensure all management decisions are good for the environment, our health, and our future. Keeping our fruit trees healthy, while protecting you and the environment, is our top priority!

Thanks from the Rose Family

We strongly believe that the care and the love that we put into our farm is returned to us and those who visit, in the form of delicious tastes, beautiful sites, and lasting memories. Through environmentally-responsible practices, we hope to pass this tradition on to our family and yours.
